These terms cover your use of lookwins.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. They're written in plain language for an early-stage small business — if something is unclear, contact us.

What Lookwins is

Lookwins is a marketplace connecting local businesses with apartment communities that have shared-space TV screens (lobbies, elevators, mail rooms, amenity rooms), so businesses can book ad time and property managers can earn from screens they already have.

Accounts

Businesses can create their own account directly on the site. Property listings work differently: because a business is trusting that a listing is real before paying to advertise on it, property accounts and listings are set up directly by Lookwins after verifying the property manager — property managers can't create their own listing without going through that process.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Use a real email address and a password you don't reuse elsewhere.

Listings

Property information (address, screens, pricing) is expected to be accurate. Lookwins may remove or edit a listing, or suspend an account, if information turns out to be false, misleading, or if the account is being used to abuse the platform.

Bookings and payment

Lookwins is currently an early-stage build. Booking a screen through the site reserves that time slot, but Lookwins does not process real payment through the platform yet — payment between the business and the property host currently happens directly between the two of you, outside of Lookwins. This will change as the platform matures; we'll update these terms when it does.

Bookings can be cancelled up until the cutoff shown at the time of booking. After that window, a booking can no longer be cancelled or changed through the site.

Ad content

You're responsible for whatever image or video you upload as ad creative. Don't upload anything illegal, infringing, deceptive, or inappropriate for a residential audience that includes families and children. You keep ownership of what you upload; you grant Lookwins and the relevant property host the right to display it on the booked screen for the booked period.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break, abuse, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the site or other users' accounts. Don't use the contact form, listings, or bookings for anything unrelated to their intended purpose.

No warranty

Lookwins is provided "as is," as an early-stage product. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a screen will perform any particular way for your business. Disputes about how a booked ad actually displayed in the physical space are between the business and the property host — Lookwins facilitates the booking but doesn't control the on-site screen equipment.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Lookwins isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us directly, if any — which, given payments aren't yet processed through the platform, is currently zero.

Termination

You can stop using Lookwins at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, is used fraudulently, or is inactive for an extended period.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform grows. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
